Tendulkar chooses not to play in Sri Lanka ODI Series

Sachin Tendulkar has decided that he will skip the upcoming ODI series in Sri Lanka. This is just great. He would not retire and he would not play either. He likes to pick and choose his series of choice. He has become an MP but does not want to stop playing cricket. But at the same time, he does not want to play either. Maybe he is eyeing the next world cup or may be he just wants to keep his name in the limelight and not have that tag of ‘Retired’ annexed to his name. This way he can concentrate on the IPL and other lucrative championships and at the same time play an international series once in a while when the conditions suit him like nice weather and less humidity and especially when the opponent is Bangladesh or Zimbabwe. Its strange that he does not play T20 cricket for India but does so in the IPL and CL.

He has so much respect but does not seem to have the desire to keep it.
